Presentation Description:
Community Partnerships Academy engages our diverse learners in the Interactive Math Program, a project-based math curriculum that has more than doubled our UC/CSU-eligible students in math. The Arts and Humanities Academy uses Studio Habits of Mind to identify traits of successful artists and apply them to instruction and assessment. The Arts and Humanities Academy (AHA) uses the Studio Habits of Mind in an innovative protocol for sharing student work and assessing student learning. They identify traits of successful artists and apply the key components of their success to various academic disciplines to increase both differentiation of instruction and arts integration across the curriculum.
