This session will provide critical information pertaining to the Career Technical Education component of the California Partnership Academy model. Presented by Industry Sector Leads from the CDE, topics include CTE Standards alignment, CTE integration with core content, appropriate teacher preparation and certification, and eligibility for CTE funding (Perkins, ROP, etc.)

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides funding to states to replace cuts to K-12 and higher education for several purposes including teacher professional development for making progress toward rigorous college and career-ready standards.
