Presentation Description:
A presentation of a collaborative unit on buying local. Utilizing all disciplines, business, culinary, English and History, the carbon footprint of “buying local” was examined. A survey was conducted with 700 plus citizens of Windsor with the findings presented at the Farmers Market and before the Windsor Town Council.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides funding to states to replace cuts to K-12 and higher education for several purposes including teacher professional development for making progress toward rigorous college and career-ready standards.
